Dr. Heather Black approaches each client’s mental health journey with deep gratitude and respect for the trust they place in her care. She believes healing happens best in a calm, supportive, and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Her approach is patient-centered and holistic, integrating both mental and physical health while encouraging each individual to maintain autonomy and an active voice in their treatment decisions.
With over 10 years of medical experience and 6 years practicing as a medical provider, Dr. Black is double board-certified in both family medicine and psychiatry. This unique background allows her to provide thoughtful, integrated care that recognizes the powerful connection between mind and body. She also brings meaningful experience in hospice care, offering compassionate support to individuals and families navigating end-of-life transitions and grief.
Dr. Black strives to create a therapeutic space that feels peaceful, nurturing, and grounded in empathy.
